The Meaning

Okuta is the Yoruba word for stone. Before it becomes a gem, stone is only pressure and time: buried, compressed, forgotten, until what was ordinary becomes worth setting in metal. This collection is cut from the same idea. Fine jewelry shaped by stone, cast in silver, 14k and 18k gold, and natural gemstones, carrying the same texture, weight, and strength the earth took centuries to make. Made entirely by hand, each piece endures the way stone does, quietly, and for a lifetime.
